Chippenham Food Bank
Amongst other things the food bank in Chippenham acts to provide emergency food to individuals and families in crisis who have been referred by one of a number of agencies within the town. Based at the Salvation Army in Unity Street, Chippenham, over recent years one or more members of Sheldon Road Church fellowship have served at the food bank and the fellowship itself does what it can to support this work. More information about the Chippenham Food Bank can be found at the Salvation Army, or about food banks in general from the Trussell Trust.
Unfortunately the provision of emergency food is an ongoing need in Chippenham, as in many other places within the UK. With the current cost of living crisis, this need is even greater.
